Lots of old wringer washers were sold with gas or electric power as options. Most of the ones purchased as gas powered got converted to electric, though, and moved inside (because who wants to be doing laundry on the back porch in the middle of winter) so finding a good running gas is difficult. I refurbed them as a hobby for a few years, you can make a pretty penny picking up non-runners, restoring, then selling to rich folks who have a second 'country' home.
